The Community
The Community depicts a group of formerly domesticated cats, living together in a public park in Istanbul. The work chronicles their activities at night, and the people in the area who tend to them during the day. The group of cats, seemingly trapped in a state of collective paralysis, live in an uncertainty of terms between care, dependency, and precarity.
