(You will get what you wish) This was a performance in which I was wearing a blinking foam costume while performing a schlager touching upon expectation and hope. The refrain loops back to the promise that upon the falling of a star, you can wish whatever you want – a romantic, yet hollow observation bordering on cynicism. A work drawing on lines of fascination with expectation, heightened reality and disappointment.
