Psychic
This sign was realised for an exhibition reflecting on and channelling Harald Szeemann‘s 1969 show, When Attitudes Become Form. A starting point and observation for the work was the proliferation of signs advertising psychics in the city of San Francisco, here pushing this presence into another language and context. This Psychic is a statement and a speech act, telling you in a somber illuminated white, “it is so.” And in the process, drawing lines of connection between different registers of intuition, intention and materialisation, lines between belief, spiritual practices and art.
